General Disclaimer

We respect your privacy. The campaign collects and processes personal data only where necessary to support campaign activities.

What We Collect

  • Contact details when you volunteer, donate, RSVP for events, or refer a friend.
  • Media content when you provide an endorsement video or photo.
  • Interaction data through campaign social media pages, surveys, or outreach programs.

How We Use It

  • To contact supporters about campaign updates, volunteer opportunities, events, and fundraising.
  • To promote endorsements and support through campaign communications.
  • To comply with local, state, and federal election laws.

How We Store It

  • Information is stored securely in campaign-managed databases and cloud platforms.
  • Access is restricted to authorized campaign staff, contractors, and vendors.

Retention

  • Data will be retained for the campaign period.
  • After the election, personal information will be deleted within 6 months unless you opt in to further communications.

Refer a Friend Program

When you use the Refer a Friend program:

  • You may provide your friend’s contact details to the campaign.
  • By doing so, you confirm you have their consent.
  • Their information will only be used for campaign-related communications.
  • Data will be deleted within 6 months after the election unless the individual opts in to ongoing updates.

Endorsement Videos & Statements

  • By submitting a video, audio, written, or recorded endorsement, you voluntarily grant permission for your name, likeness, voice, and statements to be used in campaign materials both online and offline.
  • Endorsements may appear on this website, social media, printed literature, digital ads, or at campaign events.
  • You may request a copy of your endorsement or withdraw consent at any time. Upon withdrawal, we will stop using your endorsement in new materials, though existing published content may remain in circulation.

Supporter Opinions Online & Offline

  • Opinions expressed by supporters in comments, social media posts, community forums, or offline events represent the personal views of those individuals.
  • The campaign does not endorse, edit, or accept liability for external comments, except where clearly stated as an official campaign communication.

Campaign Finance Rules & Contribution Limits

Massachusetts Contribution Limits (2025)

  • An individual may contribute up to $1,000 per calendar year to a candidate committee (M.G.L. c. 55).
  • A registered PAC may contribute up to $500 per calendar year to a candidate committee.
  • Corporations, LLCs, and partnerships are prohibited from contributing to candidate committees.
  • Cash contributions over $50 are prohibited. Contributions over $50 must be made by check, money order, or online payment.
  • Contributions must be made from personal funds and not reimbursed by any other person or entity.
  • Contributions are not tax-deductible.

Federal Campaign Laws That Apply

Although this campaign is for a local office, all contributions must also comply with federal law, including:

  • Contributions must be made by U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents (green card holders).
  • Foreign nationals (non-citizens who are not permanent residents) may not contribute.
  • Contributions must come from the donor’s own funds; no contributions in the name of another person.
  • Federal contractors are prohibited from contributing using government contract funds.

Supporters and individuals may:

  • Request a copy of their data.
  • Ask for corrections or deletions.
  • Opt out of communications at any time.
  • Withdraw consent for the use of endorsements or referrals.
