Brockton received an unprecedented $118 million in federal ESSER funds on top of its regular school budget. The money was supposed to tackle learning loss and improve student outcomes. Instead, test scores remain stagnant, literacy gaps persist, and families are left asking: where did all that money go?
As a candidate for the Brockton School Committee, I believe voters deserve more than “yes” or “no” answers. My commitment is to transparency, accountability, and academic excellence. In this article, I expand on the Massachusetts Voter Table questions, offering clear explanations on issues like immigration, voter integrity, ESOL programs, vocational education, and school funding—because Brockton deserves leadership that puts kids before politics.
